COMING:Emil Hallfredsson - who? (from Iceland) Apparently the only outstanding obstacle to the signing of the 20yr old left winger is the compensation to be paid to his current club FH Hafnarfjördur. Until this is finalised, it will not be on the official site. gg-chat.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=9344

On teamtalk today, James Beattie in for Kanoute. I think this will be a big positive to us, Kanoute holds the ball up well but that's about it, Beattie have more physical presence and will create more room for our smaller, mobile guys.

Sorry no Beattie please, don't rate him much. We don't need striker. We need RM and one strong attacking midfield and if we have extra money, we should think about RM.

Dunno which of these new rumours is more annoying...
1) Teamtalk - We are to swap Kanoute with Beattie (who I personally don't rate highly)
OR
2) Daily Express - Spurs are ready to listen to King bids at £20M
The media is really out trying to wind us up, we have the Defoe saga that we will sell him for £25M and now King for £20M.
My suggestion is to stop reading too much into these rumours until February.
