I know one thing for sure, all the lilywhites in Malaysia are smiling ear to ear with the win over man city tis morning. It was worth it, glued to the tele and i slept with ease after the game
The 09/10 season is a memorable one..the journey to europe has not been easy, like most people know this mornings's game was the decider since man city has been right under our nose from the start.
One thing for sure eventhough our shouts and screams may not be heard thousand of miles away, but the spirit that we showed in our office, kedai mamak, pubs, forums and groups is immaculate..we come as one ...the young and the veterans (they are not old, they are young at heart) and im pretty sure that one day, the likes of lennon, defoe and many others will hear our Come On You Spurs chants..and trust me that day will come..
We have open a lot of eyes and mouth too mind you
my colleague is still in disbelief, a biggot in his own world, he claims that never would spurs make it through to top 4..and his money was on man city..and you know what the best part is? is comin to office with a smile and looking at his facial expression..it was priceless..didnt have to say anything..i just let him speak..
all that i can think of in my head is that its a typical man u fan.
There is still long way to go, and our boys need to prepare themselves physicaly but more importantly mentally, its totaly a different league out there, we are going to play with the big boys now..whats important is those with CL experiences have to bring their experience to the table, with the young ones..and its a bigger task next season with tighter match fixtures considering we must maintain out top 4 finish next season.
But for the time being lets enjoy the moment, we have the bragging rights, and lets enjoy our last game away and look forward to some of our boys in Africa tis summer.
I love you Tottenham...
Come On You Spurs..
