the home side played well especially after defoe was sent off but our players mental power gave us the full important points...this is a totally different spurs side from previous seasons becoz we now not only play good attacking and entertainment football but our physical and mental parts improved a lot...well done my spurs!

defoe got sent off...good chance for crouch to show his stuff next game..
we are 3rd. and good chance to close in on man utd next week. man utd visits liverpool. i think liverpool must win this game. if we beat stoke at home, we'll be level with man utd.

This the problem with Defoe. He has the potential to be a great striker for club & country but he is a total dim-wit. He can never see the big picture. Let Capello leave him out for the next England match. That will teach him not to get easily riled up by opponents. This is not the first time we have seen him react like this when tackled. He almost cost us the game. Thanks to Gomes for rescuing us.
