Spurs played well for 1 minute. And then for the other 89 mins allowed ManU to dictate things. I think Defoe's early goal shocked Spurs so much that they lost the composure they showed in the previous matches. They knew ManU was going to come at them and Spurs showed too much respect to MU. MU is MU . When they play Spurs they know they can win, whether they're 1 goal down or 2 or even 3 goals down. We all thought Lennon and Defoe were going to lead the way but both had an off-day. In fact, I can't remember Defoe having further touches of the ball after his goal. Keane is hopeless. Can't pass, can't shoot. Too many misplaced passes and tackles from Palacios & Hudd as well. Without Modric, we had no creative flair. Redknapp's gameplan was: Boot the ball up to Crouch's head! That's it! I thought after Scholes was sent off, we can come back and get a draw at least but nothing changed. In fact MU looked as if they had 12 men, still pushing forward dangerously with Rooney, Evra & Giggs. No wonder they are the champions. We have a long way to go to be in the top 4 by the way we played last night. If not for Cudicini, it should have been 5 or 6 goals.

Keane always wander in the middle like a third striker. crouch strategy its like watching pompey team . if arry planning keane to be modric back-up on the left then sell bentley, dos santos this january

calm down guys cos one defeat is not the end of the world...be positive and furthermore it's early season...gives the players breathing space and after all most of the players just came back from international duties...don't expect the players to perform well week in and week out ....they're humans not machines and great teams do have their offdays and unfortunately spurs had their off day vs manu...Lennon gaves 130% for England and Palacious played for Honduras and had a long journey back to London so they're really tired plus we were without Modric...let just hope they bounce back vs chelsea.

The problem is that we have a tired team (this is the best we can hope for, or else, the reason for the uninspired performances in the late stage of the game will be down to our players lacking the will to win) and yet we tried to put out an extremely attacking team (2 strikers and one make-shift left winger in Keano and 433 in the second half) to attack the champions...

After this game i reckon this is the end of Gio and Pav at the club.. especially with WC coming up this coming january transfer both player will searching for a new club.Gio look fantastic with his country during the Concacaf Cup and WC qualifying round but never give a fair chance at tottenham.Maybe he just to tired coming back play for his country but its not the first time he have been left out from the team.I dont know what is HR is thinking about him.Gio must be given a proper chance to prove his worth. I hope he doesn't just play Keane on the left instead. But with his babyboy Niko is here,i dont see any chance for Gio to shine..
