One by one our sports are falling down like Humpty dumpty... football, athletics, hockey, sepak takraw and what happened to this sports can happen to other sports as well.
What will happen to badminton after Chong Wei...squash after Nichol David...body building after Sazali etc.etc.etc. and only bowling has a good base and a bright future cos after Shalin there will be young bowlers to take over her place.
What can we say about Sepak Takraw...MALU,MALU and MALU!!! our national game but was soundly beaten by a team from S.Korea who only learn how to play this game a few years ago... where to put our face guys...haiya!talak guna punya persatuan and when certain quarters ask the president to step down after the debacle his replied ''WHO THE HELL YOU THINK YOU ARE ASKING ME TO STEP DOWN"...this are the officials that ruined our sports and we don't need this kind of people...my advise to officials like him is to"GET OUT!"before it is too late to save our sports.

You're right. It's a sad situation. Other nations are doing it the right way. That's why we see countries like Thailand, S Korea, Indon, overtaking us in everything

I agreed with Razif Sidek's comment on the failure of our badminton team in Hyderabad especially Chong Wei's unexpected exit in the q/finals...playing in too many tournaments before a major meet is not good for sports like badminton...come on BAM,learn from the chinese team...hopefully BAM had learned their lesson well...no more mistakes in future...no matter how many super series we won but failure to capture a major tittle...well that shows that we are not good enough.

Due to the Chineses have a strong base to work on. How many young Malaysians are serious into sports?
The only sport that the Chineses are doing poorer and poorer is football. The locals here are so used to the shameful displays put up by the football team that none seemed to be surprised by the draw with the Malaysian youth team.
