This is the story of Hafiz Hashim the All England badminton winner in 2003 at the age of 21 and suddenly the world is looking at the next Rudy Hartono...but sadly it doesn't happen and his game was getting from bad to worst...even his mentor Misbun can't find a clue to what happen to his protege.
Misbun finally surrender and he took charge of Chong Wei who was still struggling to get to the top...but his commitment and dedication to badminton finally brought him success and this guy never say die attitute mantain his performance because he is hungry for more success unlike Hafiz...when Hafiz got married last year and settle down, things will change for the better...that's what people thought!but things were not getting better but for the worst...what BAM should do is to drop him from the national squad and let him do it himself..(BARU DIA TAHU LANGIT TINGGI ATAU RENDAH).
Hopefully this will be a lesson to all young athletes who wants to become a star..do not get success into your head..be a humble champion and always try to improve yourself. MAJULAH SUKAN UNTUK NEGARA....MALAYSIA BOLEH!

That's one of the big problems in M'sian sports. Our athletes in almost all fields are weak mentally.
Once they get a bit of success, and can afford to buy a big car, they lose their hunger. They want to enjoy their rewards instead of going for greater glory.
They should learn from Nicol David.
