Aaron Lennon scooped a hat-trick at the Supporters Clubs Awards event staged at White Hart Lane on Sunday.
The flying winger picked up the ‘Glorious Moment' for his late, late leveller in the 4-4 draw at Arsenal, ‘Young Player' and ‘Player of the Season' Awards in front of representatives of our Supporters Clubs in the Bill Nicholson Suite.
Benoit Assou-Ekotto's impressive campaign at full-back was rewarded with the 'Most Improved Player' Award while ever-popular Michael Dawson took the 'Team Player' Award, recognition for his 'solid, reliable and consistent performances'.
All three players were there to pick up their trophies and when asked about his season, Aaron put his form down to confidence. "Last season wasn't the best for me but this season I'm fitter and each game has gone better and better."
The event kicked-off with a Question & Answer session from manager Harry Redknapp where he was happy to talk about a range of subjects including his thoughts on the club and why he joined, how the season has turned around, Europe and hopes for next season.
Fans from as far and wide as New York, Sweden and Northern Ireland attended.
HONOURS LIST
Glorious Moment Award presented to Aaron Lennon by Peter Borg of Spurs Sweden.
Most Improved Player Award presented to Benoit Assou-Ekotto by Jamie McBride of New York Spurs.
Young Player Award presented to Aaron Lennon by Shaun Harvey of Somerset Spurs.
Team Player Award presented to Michael Dawson by Davy Williams of Spurs Lisburn.
