This is truly a match to be remember not because spurs score 5 goals again manure in old traford but we have concede 5 goals after we have took the 2-0 lead at half time. King and woodgate play in the center of defend but we have concede 5 goals in space of 35 minutes although we also score 2 goals in 3 minutes. which department we have improve? maybe we must not be very satisfied and carried away before a match is ended. we must install discipline in the players so we can achieve more. trully2 a heck match to watch.

we lost to manu becoz mr.webb made a blunder in giving that penalty and we have no creater in midfield...vs manu who played open attractive football we must have a playmaker who can deliver and open up opposing defence with passing perfection and only Hudd has that...but arry chose Jenas instead which I don't understand.
Hudd had played very well in the last 2 games and won the MOTM award vs Newcastle and he would have open up the manu defence who were underperformed with his trademark passing...I don't care what STG and other fans said about Hudd, but he is damn good but never given the chance to play against top teams and only arry and the coaches knows why ...if Hudds only play against weaker teams,he will not improve and I hope he will play for wolves next season if this stupid decisions continue...
eventhough I am angry but I'm still optimistic spurs will get that 7th place...

mr. webb did make the blunder of the match. All of manure is not that convincing. twice our defense try to save the ball from passing the line and Gomez have save Ronney shot but it is still a goal. Ronney was very mesmerizing in the left hand side. I also noted that have improve a lot and he had got many decent shot himself. Rumors that many players will join spurs next season but we must focus in finishing 7th place first.

It's crazy to let in 5 goals in 22 mins! Even west brom would not allow that. Evryone knew that MU will come out in the 2nd half guns blazing. I wonder what Harry's tactics were to contain the expected wave of attacks. IMO, maybe Zokora could have been useful...? 2 goals, where got enough against MU lah! Overall I think the players are not to blame (except Keane who was a big disappointment). Tactically, we amounted to zero in the 2nd half. It's a big humiliation for the Spurs. As samy vellu would say: "Ini satu kemaluan yang amat besar."

I agree with Edwin...if the spurs players had that '[glow=red,2,300][/glow]that kemaluan...they would not let 5 crazy goals past them..its total humiliation after been impressivess in the in the last 9 league matches...and what happen to our great wall of china(king/woody)..they suddenly freeze under waves of snowing manu attacks...and now we wonder if Palacious is really tough or Zokora much tougher under pressure?...and what about the inconsistent Jenas...is really up to it or better to play Hudd becoz he's got tremendous passing /shooting abilities and can suddenly change the course of the game with a twist of his magic like what Hoddle the legend did for spurs many times during the late 70's and 80's...what other fans said about Hudd is from their own opinions but I'm for Hudd all the way...

Well, I switch-off the TV during half-time, expecting a lost.
WHY?! you may ask. I expect the match to be a fixed match.
WHY?! you may ask again. Can you see any reaction from Ferguson when we score both goals? Yes. None at all. Usually he will be fuming, so does Ferdinand. But both seems to be very 'tak kesah' attitude.
Therefore, I smell something fishy is going on. And expected, the next morning, paper showed that we lost.
Not surprising at all!

Redknapp should have done something to neutralize Tevez when he came on. We looked like we were gonna get overrun as soon as the 2nd half started. The penalty was a sh1t decision for sure but I had no doubts that Utd would have scored eventually anyway. We needed to take Keano off (he was complete crap) and bring in Zokora to hussle Tevez and maybe even manmark him. That would have made a difference I think.
The one thing I liked about Ramos was that he dared used substitutions. Redknapp doesn't seem to be able to do that as well.

Keane was not very effective maybe becuz he play behind bent. arry really need to make some substitutions to change thing a little and can waste time to brake any manure momentum. substitution is also a tactical strategy. I agree that we should Zokora on to withstand the pressure. The only good thing from this match is bent improvement. he had got couple of decent chances to score.

Everyone who watched the game knew it wasn't a penalty. I really believe that if we had held on for another 10 mins or so without conceding, we would have gained in confidence and MU would have increased in frustration, then the scoreline would not have been so disastrous. Maybe 2-2 lah in the end. ===================================== Howard Webb has admitted he made a mistake in awarding Manchester United a penalty against Tottenham on Saturday. Webb has come under fire after ruling that Spurs goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes brought down Michael Carrick in the box, when replays clearly showed he took the ball first.United were 2-0 down at the time, but Cristiano Ronaldo converted the spot-kick and the rejuvenated Red Devils went on to record a crucial 5-2 victory. =======================================

Yes I agreed with STG (at last..ha!ha!)that HR is scared to use subs unlike Ramos...and also HR give too much respect to the senior players for example Keane and King...he will hold on to these star players even when they're underperforming...superstar or no,if they are off colours drop them becoz football is a team game not about individual...we have no other options but to win and must win our next remaining games and hope Fulham will fumble along the way.

This is certainly the debate of the season. Webb had made really bad decision and it has cuz the game. but the past is past. even though webb said sorry for his mistake, the result can not be change. Just looking forward for the remaining matches. arry, the palyers, chairman, spurs staffs and all of us must take a very precious moral value. DO NOT STOP FIGHTING UNTIL THE LAST WIESEL.

Now that we have had a few days to cry over hte result and curse Howard Webb, I think we have to take a closer look at why we capitulated so easily after conceding the penalty. We were still leading 2-1 and we should have at least stabilized the ship somewhat for the next 10 minutes instead of conceding another 2 goals in rapid succession. what is everyone's opinion on why we capitulated and what do you think HR could have done to preserve our lead?

ok let tell you guys my side of the story on why the spurs team collapse vs manu...I'm a very active sportsman since my primary school days right until now (playing for Perak veteran rugby team)...I am not talking big or showing off but this is reality that I want to tell you guys...
I played football, sepak takraw, hockey and rugby during my schooldays but I opt for rugby after living school cos rugby is a gentlemans game using all parts of ur body to play...after retirement I coach several clubs and also the Perak state team....
Ok let me get to the point...in field sports like football ,hockey, rugby etc.etc...when a team is playing well and the score is in their favour...all of a sudden the referee made a blunder by giving a penalty to the opposition...and the other team players protest to the officials but the decision is final...the opposition scored and although they accept the decision but they were truly unhappy...becoz of this unhappiness inside them,25% had gone from their performance and thus mistake after mistake occur during the remaining minutes of the match and the opposition grew in confidence...it happened to me in 1981 when my rugby club "Anchorman" were leading Cobra in the Guinness cup final...the referee give a "penalty try" to Cobra after seconds ago he blew up for a freekick to us but change his mind at the last minute and Cobra scored and they won the cup ..what a blunder and all of the Anchorman players that was called up to represent Selangor "boikot"and selangor was a depleted side during the national tournament...why we boikot...becoz we were frustrated at the time and that happened to the spurs players when lost to manu 2-5...hope you guys understand what Iam saying.
...even senior players will collapsed and lost self confidence if this silly mistake by the official happened...we are all human being!
