who says without foreign imports our local football will be boring.. ...nah!teams like kelantan,s'gor, perlis ,kedah and the young perak boys are playing entertaining attacking football especially kelantan n s'gor...last saturday's match between kl'tan/s'gor was one of the best matches seen on tv for quite a long time and both goals scored are of world class especially Indra Putra's goal ...can challenge Messi's n Ronaldo's goal for been one of the best goals 2009...well done Indra n safee...you made m'sia proud.
....remember the 4 finalist of 'soccer super star' that went to chelsea's academy recently...they impressed the coaches with their skills and workrate...hopefully FAM take note of this boys, don't do another Akmal Rizal,Suhaili Samion,Fadzil Shaari,Rudie Ramli who went to Europe but FAM???...last year Bunyamin Omar/Badrol Bakhtiar of kedah and Azaruddin of selangor went for a stint at chelsea and Eindhoven and are now plying their trade in super league....hope FAM will keep track on this potential players cos they're still young..come on FAM,open your eyes and use your head inteligently or else m'sian soccer will be buried forever.

The involvements of politicians in Malaysian sports is not new...it happened since the 60's where known politician such as our 1st PM the Tengku in football,Khir Johari in badminton,Hamzah Abu Samah and Harun Idris the famous football manager of all time...but still our sports were good and well respected in Asia especially football, badminton, atletics, hockey and cycling.
But look now...our sports are going nowhere especially football, atletics, hockey etc.except bowling,squash,badminton,cycling...the difference between the current and past politicians are commitment and sacrifies...those days politician gives 100per cent efforts and they act like ordinary people when they involved with the athletes and these athletes love and respect them, but now is the opposite side...a few of the politicians involved in sports are arrogant and seldom be with the athletes and they seems to know better regarding sports...we need politicians who can gives 100 per cent commitment...otherwise just forget it and look after thier own constituencies,

nowadays politicians have their own agenda. if we want to enhance our league, we must make it as a brand. hand over the league management to non-government agencies such as sapura, PETRONAS n etc. with our own league brand, there will be no corruption and money will not be a problem.

Corruption is a virus and there is no cure for it...the only medicine that can shut down corruption is from the inside of you(humans)...SAY NO TO RASUAH and there will be no corruption...regardless of who take charge of the malaysian league

human are not perfect, but the management of our league must be in the hand of some dedicated and ambitious person, therefore our football will have a bright future. No offend for Sultan Ahmad, the current FAM President for so many years. he is not that passion about football. the FAM must consist of neutral parties and we must have plans to enhance our league for example making our league as a business and create many packages so foreign investor will invest.

i read rtm going to have a dedicated sports tv station. hopefully can have more local football on tv...but first they must find more football commentators. hasbullah awang can only cover 1 match at a time...lol. i suggest rtm to get some colorful commentator like those south american commentators who are passionate and shout goooooooooaaaaaallllll when there's a goal. that will definately boost up our local football. cheers..

rooster is right. we must support our own league and the media must stand up to take the suppose measurement to promote our own league. if RTM do dedicate in our own football, then they must go on. actually the rating of our people watching our own football is not that bad, but RTM tend to show reply matched, highlight of matches during midnight. huhh....

To develop our league we really need money incentive. before we can can money incentive, the organization that handle the league must be professional, creative, ambitious and know how to take any chances. For example, increase the money prize and give different amount of prize money to better table finish just like the premier league. Not just give prize money to champion and runner-up only.
