We're out of uefa. Our chance of qualifying for next season through carling is also gone.
I'm not sure if we can make it to 7th place to stake a claim.
There is one other back door, if I'm not mistaken.
The Fairplay List
Last season, Spurs were top in the fairplay list. Even if we had not won in the Carling, we would have qualified for Europe. But since we already did, the spot was given to the next highest qualifier i.e. Man C.
Not sure where we stand this season. Anyone knows?

the fairplay also involve other teams in other league. not just competing with other premiership team only. therefore the probability 4 spurs to take the back door and com eting to europe is about 1/100++. usually the 7th place finish in the league get to play in europe, but to play safe just finish top 6. we doesn't have any commitment in other competitions, so just focus in the league and win every available matches . this not the time to play2 .

12 games remaining and i'm not expecting much from spurs. just hope for a top 10 finish. they need to treat every game as a cup final. no more slip ups especially the home games against lesser teams. i set a modest target for spurs > 6 home wins = 18 pts & 6 away draw = 6 pts. total = 24 pts. currently we have 28 pts so final pts of 52 should give us a top 10 finish.

Artcile by Alan Hansen:.....
“After Tottenham’s win at Villa Park I certainly wouldn’t write off their chances of grabbing a Uefa Cup spot by the end of the season,” writes footballpools.com pundit Alan Hansen. “With 7th place likely to mean European qualification, Harry Redknapp’s side definitely have a chance with only 5 points separating them from that position.
“Tottenham’s credentials are there for all to see, they have great strength in depth, a great manager and a good set of players including the new arrivals in January who have made a real difference. Harry has also got them all working extremely hard for each other which shone through in their excellent result at Villa Park. What is important is that the team now has a structure to it that wasn’t evident earlier in the season which suggests the players now know what their jobs are.
“If Spurs are to stand any chance of finishing 7th then they have to keep the two centre-halves fit as they were both immense at Villa Park. The fact that Harry’s side won’t have any more midweek games can only help the likes of Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate to play week in, week out in the starting eleven. Both are excellent defenders who’ve both unfortunately had more than their fair share of injuries over the years but once fit are up there with the best in the Premier League without a question.
“Robbie Keane is also a player who has had a positive impact since returning to Tottenham and looks to be enjoying his football again. Robbie is obviously a leader at Tottenham and you can see the players there look up to him. He also gives 110% every time he steps onto the pitch so it’s no surprise that his second spell with the club is going well. Let’s get it right, he is a tremendous player so it was hardly going to be a gamble for Spurs.
“Aaron Lennon is another Spurs player that seems to be on top of his game at the moment and Harry seems to have got him improving his end product. The winger illustrated that fact at Villa Park by putting some great balls into the box. Lennon has one thing that defenders hate to play against…pace. In fact the lad has it in abundance, so he’s always going to be a danger and his confidence is obviously sky high at the moment.”

We will be there...the uefa cup place will be our s at the end of season provided we show the same spirit and performance right till the end of season..I'm positively sure that spurs will beat everton away and drew both L'pool n Manu away plus win all our remaining home games....a successful sportsmen, coaches and fans must have "YAKIN"attitude...mesti yakin pada diri sendiri...

yakinkanlah diri sendiri ( promote kedah fa song plak)... we must finish the season with at least 50++ points. I'm very positive we can do it and also confident that spurs will make a surprise by winning against manure at Old Traford.
