Spurs consider former striker Kanoute as replacement for the departing Bulgarian BerbatovBy Neil Ashton Last updated at 12:42 PM on 13th August 2008 Juande Ramos is exploring the possibility of bringing former Tottenham striker Fredi Kanoute back to White Hart Lane as he prepares for the departure of Dimitar Berbatov to Manchester United. Spurs will finally sell Berbatov to Manchester United and Ramos has urged sporting director Damien Comolli to sign the Sevilla striker. Fan favourite: Fredi Kanoute could be on his way back to White Hart Lane. Kanoute worked with Ramos when he was in Sevilla and he is among a list of strikers who could replace Berbatov at White Hart Lane. The Mali striker infamously fell out with former Spurs manager David Pleat when he insisted on playing for his adopted country in the African Nations Cup, but there is no doubting his class. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1044369/Spurs-consider-striker-Kanoute-replacement-departing-Bulgarian-Berbatov.html?ITO=1490

Nahhh.... I don't think Ramos preferred him to other players he had in mind... with loads of cash with spurs.. we are linked with almost everbody in the planet...
Fredi would be a last minute decision if Spurs ever to buy him..
