One of the teams I was supporting was Croatia. And supporting Croatia is like supporting Spurs. After so much promise, they go down to a last minute goal; Too naive to hang on to their lead. The other team I was cheering for was Holland. They're also on their way home now. It seems like these teams peaked too early in the first round, winning everything and earning all the plaudits but couldn't deliver when it came to the crunch.

Supporting spurs always gave me heart attackS.... (the pun on the capital S is very much intended) but having seen Crotia is like relieving the 83-84 and 86- 87 season again and again ( the season where Spurs were strong on all front but finished empty handed)
But the Turks is also similiar to Spurs... a team nobody gives a look but they are now in the semis... nobody gave us a winning look during last season's Carling Cup but then... it's just the Carling Cup...
I hope Spain would win the cup and Villa made the most sensible choice in his career by joining Spurs...
